I believe in consistent and sustainable fitness. Yes, you can lose a few kilograms/pounds in a few weeks with ‘crash diets’ but you will put this weight, and more, back on as soon as you stop. This is not a healthy way to live and my approach is to create exercise and nutrition plans that allow you to enjoy exercising and your food without feeling deprived.
Your workouts will be at a time and in a place convenient for YOU, may it be at your home or at a local park. All you need is the sports clothing and I will provide any equipment needed for a fun, effective workout. Plus, all of my exercise programmes come with stretching and mobility exercises.
All of the above will help you get that health and fitness mind-set that becomes part of your life with minimal effort.
‘Running buddy’ sessions, where I will run with you, provide all the encouragement, motivation, education and support you need to achieve your running goals, which could be to run your first mile or to get a personal best in a marathon.
Strength training is an important part of the health and fitness jigsaw. It can include bodyweight, resistance bands, or weighted exercises. It builds lean muscle which can increase strength and reduce the chances of injury. You can build lean muscle without ‘bulking-up’, unless that is what you want to do.
By eating a mixture of natural whole foods you can achieve improved health together with sustainable weight loss without feeling deprived; whilst achieving the right balance between what and how much you eat.
Whether your goal is weight-loss, becoming fitter or improving your general well-being, everything else in life becomes easier, whether running for a bus, climbing a set of stairs or playing with your children. In turn you will increase your self-esteem and have more confidence in what you can achieve.
