When I first speak to people about what they are looking to achieve through personal training, the answers that comes back far more than any other are help to lose weight and get healthier. Without a proper approach to food and hydration, any form of exercising will be ineffective. Nutrition really is that important. Everything I’ve mentioned above will only work if you get your food choices right.
Good, Healthy Eating
There is so much bad nutritional advice out there, it’s unsurprising that people just don’t know what to believe or where to turn. The answer lies in getting the right balance between the exercise you do and what and how much you eat. I don’t believe you should be striving for the perfect, healthy diet.
Life is here to be enjoyed; so by all means allow yourself to enjoy the food and drink you love, but do it in moderation. If you know you are eating the wrong things, identify your weaknesses and commit to changes. This is where I can help you. I don’t offer quick fixes, fads or crash diets. It’s simply good, healthy eating based on sound, scientific principles, concentrating on foods which will work with your body and, more importantly, that you can enjoy for the rest of your life.
Nutrition is clearly an important part of any exercise programme. As part of your free consultation we’ll discuss any changes you need to make in order to get you on the right path. So, if you’re struggling with a balanced, nutritional diet get in touch today.
